
The Hindu college of Engineering and technology was established COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING stream in the year of 2011.
The Department consists of 2 Computer Labs having 120 systems with high configuration and fully Air Conditioned, . Almost all fields are computerized to have an ease of handling the problems of designing, manufacturing, maintenance, servicing, researching, marketing and accounting. The B. Tech computer engineering program includes computer operations on different languages, data generation, collection and utilization of information.
The Department of CSE has well-qualified and experienced faculty and will look of Software & Hardware facilities and requirements of entire college.
The Vision of the department is to produce competent graduates suitable for industries and organizations at global level including research and development with Social responsibility.
To provide an open environment to foster professional and personal growth with a strong theoretical and practical background having an emphasis on hardware and software development making the graduates industry ready with social ethics. Further the Department is to provide training and to partner with Global entities in education and research.

Teach students the basic principles that underlie modern computational technology
Help students apply their knowledge of computer science to the solutions of the problems arising in various disciplines
Enhance students ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
Familiarise students with current technological trends and breakthroughs in computer science, such as machine learning
Encourage students to participate in national and international events in the field
Long-Term Goals
Transform the department and its students into a multidisciplinary stream where students can collaborate with other departments for research
Strive to become a centre of excellence in the discipline
Encourage students to take up entrepreneurship in the field
Widen the scope of the faculty by helping them pursue cross-discipline research topics like robotics and machine vision
Expand current capabilities of research centre and laboratories
